Your wedding stationery is often the very first glimpse of your wedding that your guests will see.

Our custom design process will enable us to, together, create your customized and impeccably crafted invitations.

RGS CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS:

Fill out the contact form here to give all the initials details needed to get started. You will receive a response via email within a business day or two.

Schedule our consultation meeting in the studio or over the phone. We can sort through samples and discuss your vision. We will select your papers, print styles, and overall preferences.

We’ll walk you through the booking process with the necessary paperwork and you will make a deposit on your stationery.

We will email your digital proofs. Typically, a few initial concepts will be provided based on what we discussed regarding your design preferences. Once you choose the style you prefer, all other stationery will be edited or designed to create a cohesive look based on that chosen style and you will receive new proofs of your entire suite for your approval or edits.

Designing the perfect invitations calls for intense focus and our design timelines are constructed accordingly – so you probably won’t hear much from us during the design time, unless we have questions!

Once we have completed the designs, and you know that every single detail is utter perfection, your stationery will be sent to print to be produced! The time it takes can vary from a few days for flat printing and a few weeks for foil or letterpress printing.

We’ll print or calligraph your guest addresses (if you have added-on one of these services) on your envelopes using a spreadsheet that we send to you to fill out all of your guest’s info.

Once your stationery has been produced, we’ll wrap it up and ship it to you so you can begin the assembly process with detailed instructions. We also offer this service if you prefer to receive them pre-assembled! If you choose to have RGS assemble your invitations, you will receive them stamped, stuffed & addressed, but left unsealed. This is for you to be able to review the contents of each envelope and seal them yourself, cross-checking your guest list. From there, you can take them to USPS to send out. We always recommend taking a completed suite to the USPS to have them confirm your postage rates before purchasing any.

The biggest day (up until The Big Day, that is) – the day your invitations are released in the wild. There is nothing like this feeling. The biggest check mark off the list (you’ll understand when you feel it!) and, as we hear often – a very clear feeling of how “real” its becoming!

(if applicable) We will move onto your day-of stationery designs and repeat a similar process.
