DESIGN PROCESS FOR WEDDING INVITATIONS

CONSULTATION

Because Rose Gold Studio offers completely custom, one-of-a-kind designs, it is important for us to understand your vision off the bat – or help you create it. The design process begins with a consultation. We can discuss by phone, email or video chat, or if you’re local to the surrounding Cleveland area, we can meet in person. Please bring along any inspiration & imagery you’ve collected for the event/project. We will go through everything including the style of your event & what you’re looking for specifically. We will brainstorm and discuss the limitless options.

TIMELINE, COST ESTIMATE & CONTRACT

After the consultation, Rose Gold Studio will build your individual timeline working backwards from the delivery date, and a detailed estimate including all costs – design, printing, materials & postage, based on your selected options. Pricing wildly ranges between clients, depending on overall style, paper choice & components. Rose Gold Studio strives to work within the realm of all wedding budgets. If there is a budget in mind, please share so I can offer attainable options. Once satisfied with the estimate, Rose Gold Studio sends clients the contract and requires it to be returned with a deposit. All specific details are outlined within the contract. An estimate, timeline & contract can be expected within 10 business days after the consultation.

DESIGN

Once the signed contract and deposit have been returned, Rose Gold Studio begins the design phase! A style board is usually the first step with a color palette, inspiration, fonts, ideas and more to reference while designing (think hard copy Pinterest board!).. Generally, 2-3 initial designs are submitted for the main invitation piece in the invitation suite, and a style is established after client input and tweaks. The remaining components will be designed to coordinate with the chosen style. The design phase can last from a few weeks to a few months, depending on timeline. Once a final design has been reached, the client will sign off on a final approval before entering production.

PRODUCTION

All approved designs will enter print production. Rose Gold Studio works with a number of reputable printers in the surrounding area and chooses vendors according to needs. Rose Gold Studio is passionate about impeccable finished quality.

DELIVERY

Clients have the option to pick up (if local) or to have the final components shipped via UPS. During our consultation, we can discuss if you’d prefer the components arrive to assembled or if you would enjoy assembling. Many brides enjoy this part and prefer to do it themselves with bridesmaids and a bottle of wine (though not placed on the same table!).
